Overview

Rafting on the Kolad River at Kundalika River takes place in the heart of the Western Ghats, encircled by undulating hills, lush woods, and rice fields. Every day of the year, the Bhira dam releases water, turning the normally placid Kundalika River into a violent torrent. It's going to be rafting time! There could be rapids as high as 13 or 14 kilometers in your path. Whitewater rafting is depressing because of the constant flow of water from a dam.
